ReloGulf Racket

My guess is that ReloGulf is the only moving company to have its own parody website (screenshot below). The site was constructed by a ripped off customer while they spent a year and a half fighting for compensation for their stolen goods. The site owner says that the domain and site will expire soon but in the meantime you can see it here (Expired and link removed May 5, 2014 but screenshot below).

ReloGulf with offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar and the UK specialise in scamming expats making international moves. The moving company packs their client’s belongings and takes full payment for the complete job, then after several months they will put the goods on a ship to get them out of the country. What they do not do is pay the shippers or their agents in the destination country. Not surprisingly the shippers and agents will refuse to deliver the goods until they have been paid, which they never are.

ReloGulf rely on the fact that clients find it difficult to do deal with the police and other authorities when they are located thousands of miles away. Stories of ReloGulf’s criminal activity are widely available on consumer review sites but somehow the company is still allowed to operate this pernicious scam.
